Why Is Time Your Master
Why Is Time Your Master
How many times have you moaned about the past that controls you?
The memories . . . good and bad,
The incidents . . . bad and worse,
The experiences . . . worse and horrific.
How many times have you yearned for the future that you can't have?
The dream that is unreachable,
The joys that you shouldn't deserve,
The love that is not quite yours.
Caught between the plumbline of extremes, from the past to the future, never satisfied, always wishing, pleading, making excuses and settling for the mediocre!
Time has become YOUR master and its controls the life that you have. Each step that you take and each decision that you make, draws tension between the past and the future. They are caught in a dance that will not release you.
- Change is about TIME -
"Time is an equal opportunity employer. Each human being has exactly the same number of hours and minutes every day. Rich people can't buy more hours; scientists can't invent new minutes. And you can't save time to spend it on another day. Even so, time is amazingly fair and forgiving. No matter how much time you've wasted in the past, you still have an entire tomorrow."
Denis Waitely, The Joy of Working
Change declares war on an attitude which places TIME in the balance!
Your very future is dependant on what you think, say and do now. If you want to repeat yesterday or last year or a decade ago, then simply remember it and project it into your future.
If you do not want to repeat the past,
then arrange a TIME,
when you can take the TIME,
to spend a little TIME by yourself
For it is better late than never,
And TIME does fly,
So beat the clock and,
Remember that it is high TIME ,
that you make up for lost TIME,
and only in the nick of TIME,
For NOW is the eternal forever. (JB)
Life is a priviledge people!
Death has never elevated a person from a state of ignorance to one of wisdom, so this is your life and your chance to do things differently . . .
Change the way that you treat TIME. Give it the respect that it deserves knowing that it has a final hour and after that is a mystery.
Love your family as much as you possibly can,
Cherish your friends as much as they deserve,
Respect your position as much as you possibly know,
Enjoy your life as much as you can allow,
Deserve everything that your heart desires,
Give as much as you have to give,
Receive as much as you are willing to accept,
Finally, acknowledge as much of the Divine within as possible! (JB)
