SOLE TO SOUL

"As the road upon which we walk is done through the soles of our feet, so the fields that we dance in, is done by our heart and soul."
 
In this reality we are always two - a Spirit and a Soul and as our Spirit guides us in the right direction, taking roads less travelled and putting the right foot forward, so does our Soul enchant us about our heritage and destiny. The Soul is the garment that your Spirit wears in order to  experience 'Life!"
 
Imagine if you may, that the soles of your feet are planted on earth and they have been given the directive to explore each and every highway, byway and path that exists.
Now, imagine that your Soul is right near your own heart and its destiny is to  fufill a really extraordinary task.
It is not concerned about the road, it is interested in how you journey.
It is not concerned about who you travel with but how you interact.
It is not concerned about the crossroads or your choices, but how you choose.
It is not concerned about the mountains nor the scenery, but what you experience.
It is not concerned about the shoes you wear nor your clothing, but it wants to know that you are clothed in joy, faith, freedom, forgiveness and prosperity.
It is not concerned with habits nor addictions, but wants to explore the unknown with you.
You see . . . your soles have only been with you for this short life and one day you will have to give them up, but your Soul has been with you forever and will never give you up!
 
Change is knowing when to walk and how to walk on earth, so that your lifetime is a never-ending story, of adventure and new experiences!"

    And who doesn't love the never-ending story? This speaks to a powerful statement Jim Carey made regarding people not necessarily remembering what you said or did, but how you made them feel - the impact you have on others.

    Reading this, would it be accurate to say that the spirit is a future self, drawing us forward; while the soul lives in the *now*, timeless, eternal, ever-present.

  And yet everything says otherwise . . . I will begin with a story that speaks volumes. Years ago I met a dog, who upon approach, always lay down and turned onto its back to show its belly. A very submissive action, and no matter how I approached that dog, I could not get it to stand to be patted or given a treat. AN IDIOT WAITING TO BLOSSOM Like most idiots, the flower remains tightly bound to its current course and holds stubbornly to a divine procedure. It must remain tightly bound and closed to the world for an allotted time before it is signalled to open slowly.   Inside its complex being, there is held a kaleidoscope of colours, fragrances and beauty and the best kept secret . . . the ability to seed others just like it! The idiot in the same picture, does this slightly differently - Bound by time, as is the blossom, and sheltered from the world, as is the blossom, the idiot struggles and resists the natural divine procedure.
