Mega Perceptions

MEGA PERCEPTIONS ARE A KEY TO CHANGE!
We all have our own point of view - yes?
And our point of view is always right - yes?
So much so, that we will fight with a loved one, walk out of a job, dump a best friend, make a bad decision and throw the baby out with the bathwater . . . and all because we are right . . .
Or so we think.
Perceptions colour our ability to relate to any given situation and experience and they are deeply personal and we will always stake our lives on them. At the scene of a crime, it is common knowledge that when eyewitness statements are taken, the amount of variation in details can be vast and some completely opposite to others.
A suspect can be seen running away, whilst another declares that they got into a vehicle and yet another swears that the suspect was limping.
Perception . . .
So where do we place ourselves regarding truth . . . is truth not a perception too?
This begs the question then, 'is not every perception a truth of some kind?'
Here is where change begins to offer us a wonderful gift.
Forgiveness is often reached when perception is changed or the perceived experience of another is understood instead of being judged.
If you can for one moment, choose three instances where someone did you wrong or you overheard something that hurt you or you were misunderstood, and you changed your perception on the situation or experience - would your original anger, hurt, blame and so forth have a garden to grow in?
If you saw it through their eyes . . .
If you could see the three days that led up to their outburst . . .
If you could hear the voice of their parent demeaning them for a decade . . .
If you could only hear what your boss heard as he left home that morning . . .
If you could only know that the lady who yelled at you lost her father that morning . . .
. . . if only.
Our points of view, a.k.a our perception, is meant to be a tool and not an entrapment which lasts decades and sometimes a lifetime!
It is simply a 'viewing point' and it gives us an opportunity to realise what lens we are seeing reality through. We are meant to take notice of the anger that arises within and do something about it, and I don't mean resign either!
We are meant to go home and change the lens!
Change our perception . . .
See the situation differently, see it powerfully instead of as a victim.
We are meant to see it with a Mega Perception, a lens which uplifts us, fortifies us, loves us and exalts us. A lens which sees beauty and the perfect balance between all things.
. . . but for now, lets begin with taking the three experiences and changing our perception and then we can move onto perfection and our ability to be the change we want to experience!

Understanding changes everything and learning to go to that place as quickly as possible is wonderfully life changing.
