How Do We Measure Our Future?

 Peace.

Why peace?

We have to measure our future from a solid and reliable starting point, and so peace was chosen as a stable and reliable place to begin.

What else?

It is strategic and not just a platitude . . . and its about trajectory too. When you leave a point, if it is not pure, slight degrees of impurity begin to alter direction and in the end, you are nowhere you ever wanted to be!

Is it not stated that peace transcends all understanding? What does that mean precisely? It means that as far as lofty aspirations go, the experience of true peace extends far beyond normal the average ideas around it. It means that it is not related to war . . . not as an opposite . . . and not as a nice phrase to be bandied about in forums or used to sedate human beings. It is not the peace that is attached tagged onto titles and committees like as a mask hiding true agendas.

Not that peace.

TI’m referring to the kind of peace that stops the world, and then rattles it to shake out the incongruent mischief makers and their minions until it, and finally begins to flood the conscious highways with a soothing knowingness.

It’s deeply peaceful.

If you have never experienced this kind of peace – the transcendent kind – ask for it, for there is nothing in this world that can compare to it. It is an inner state of being that cannot be earned, and neither will any action lead to it.

Thisat is the kind of peace where from which we begin our measurement. All outcomes have a beginning, and the beginning determines the end result.

The second point that we have toneeded set for any measurement is one in the a future, or an end point . . . some obscure unknown date that matters only to us as individuals. For some, it is their child’s graduation day, the day they receive their first pension, or their wedding day. Others might choose to look for an end toof their chemotherapy, a visit from a loved one, or a holiday. The Each ‘end point’ date is subject to their individual projections of worry and hope, combined or apart.

So, let us amble along this train of thought and see what we can come up with.

From a place of peace, we can measure the wealth of a nation and the percentage of its economic growth, because all of the inhabitants of that nation are happy, and happiness allows everyone to be generous. Schools have changed their curriculum to accommodate the conscious capacity of all children; it is no longer only their IQ that determines their class, but their overall creative talent, too. Later, a variety of curriculums encourage growth in different subject areas, and as a result, different needs within the community are easy to source. Instilling respect and appreciation for all talents, abilities, and interests generates an atmosphere of joy and well-being throughout communities community atmosphere of joy and well-being.

From the standpoint of peace, all soldiers return home to provide the nation with a strong and disciplined group of leaders. One of their roles is to teach the adolescent population about self-discipline and the value of service to community and country. They are given a sense of belonging, a sense that they matter. Resonating with a strong sense of dignity insures ensures they make good choices for their future.

From a place of peace, the elderly are given a voice and invited to be a valuable part of the community. Old-age homes are dissolved and replaced by villages of care. Wildlife wanders through their villages, music plays to ease their discomforts, and once a week there is a celebration of life party there is a celebration of life party once a week. They all have tasks they choose, and they all matter, for their wisdom and experience are is highly valued.

During peace, Ththe future streams immeasurable tranquillity, hope, and serenity, . There is no conflict for the frequency of peace lifts doubt and allowsand dreams to beare easily manifested easily for the frequency of peace lifts and allows. There is no conflict. When two do not agreethere is disagreement, a mutual respect allows enables both sides to find a solution . Peace does that! Solutions are easily found in a state of peace because there are no odds and no comparisons of better or worse, right or wrong. Community members stand side by side to work towards mutual goals. Peace does that!

From a position of peace, views about life . . . change. Graduation is not celebrated not because the student has completed school, but because they have found their purpose. Other The elderly receive payment not because they are old and helpless but to reward the for the wisdom that their generation imbues; it is equal and available to all, regardless of background or position., and this generosityIt is not about survival; it is  but about making things the richness in life possible for all to experience a richness in life. Marriage feasts still celebrate the discovery of that true, eternal love has been discovered,; and everyone from far and wide is able to travel the distance to experience it. Families visit to exchange, share, and gift whenever they wish, for holidays are dissolved.

Home is where the heart belongs and is where each human is happiest.

This future does exist. This state of peace waits patiently for the knock on the door. You see, it must be welcomed in, as it will not intrude upon a warmonger’s domain.

It does not matter which future point we choose to look forward to; the outcome is determined by the beginning. It is an unchanging Universal law not established by humankind.

Peace is not a creation of the world, but its singular, transformational energy is without parallel.

Except for love . . . but that is for another day.

    1. It is up to each of us individually, to embody and align wiht those visions of a future that qualifies for being 'worthy'. Our future has to be worhty of us and and we have to worthy of our future.
